Budget startup Breeze Airways unveiled five new routes Tuesday, adding more nonstop flights between cities it already serves.

Tampa International Airport (TPA) received the biggest boost with new Breeze service to three cities. Flights to Charleston, West Virginia; Columbus, Ohio; and Pittsburgh all begin in October.

New Orleans landed two new routes in the Tuesday announcement, with flights to Orlando and Tulsa, Oklahoma, launching in September.

The additions beef up Breeze’s position in both Tampa and New Orleans, giving it a total of 14 nonstop seasonal or year-round routes from Tampa and 13 from New Orleans.

All of the new flights announced Tuesday will be operated on Breeze’s Airbus A220 aircraft. Introductory fares begin at either $39 or $59 one-way, though those fares must be purchased by July 3.

The latest additions come just two weeks after Breeze announced three other new routes. Those include two new destinations from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) — to Tampa and Las Vegas — and another new route between Orlando and Portland, Maine. Those flights begin in September.
